The virtual exhibition Europaeisk krig uundgaaelig [European war is inevitable] has been created by the Riksarkivet og Statsarkivene, the Norwegian national archives. This small virtual exhibition shows twelve telegrams and letters documenting the activity of Norwegian diplomats and politicians during the summer of 1914. Norway was one of the countries that declared themselves neutral during the First World War. The exhibition can only be viewed in Norse.
