ALEX: Historische Rechts- und Gesetztexte Online

Logo ALEXThe digital portal ALEX: Historische Rechts- und Gesetztexte Online is a project of the Österreichische Nationalbibliothek in Vienna to present sources for legislation, administrative and parliamentary records of the Habsburg Empire and the republic Austria. The portal features in particular the national and provincial official publications of laws. You can find them using either a chronological overview or a thematic overview. The Staatshandbuch (1703-1918), the yearbook issued by the Austrian government, and the Budget/Staatsvoranschlag (1914-1918; 1918-1963), the yearly budgets, have been digitized, too. The ALEX portal leads you also to a number of law journals and publications about the Austrian administration and ministries. You can search with one search action in all legislative sources or for particular juridical matters.
